Born in the projects, Allen faced a lot of hardships growing up. At times, his family did not even have enough money to pay for the electricity bills.
From the day he was born, his mother Ann Iverson knew that he was going to grow up as a ball player because of his long arms.
He was gifted in sports and excelled both in basketball and football throughout his school life. Eventually he chose basketball as his main sports and
made it into the NBA in 1996. He is one of the best ball handlers in the history of the NBA and is famous for his trademark move; the "AI Crossover".
