Welcome to LCJ’s New Web Site!

After moving to a new location, we decided to update the web site as well. The new version is better-designed, and has a few new features, most notably the built-in blogs. This main page will serve as a way to notify students and visitors of the goings-on at LCJ. If you click on “Events,” you will see a blog that both reports on events we have just held and on events we plan to have in the near future. Finally, there is the Alumni blog–now empty, but we hope to populate it very soon with a large number of entries on LCJ graduates and what’s happening with them.

For the first few weeks, this site will still be under some construction, but we hope to have everything up and rolling as quickly as possible. One thing we will chronicle here very soon is the upgrade to LCJ Mail, the email system that LCJ has offered for the past seven or eight years. It showed its age too much, so we have upgraded to a brand new system–powered by Google’s GMail! The new accounts will have 6GB of space, POP access, and an online office suite, with word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation apps, plus a calendar which we hope to use to notify students of schedule information.

So bear with us while we grow and improve, giving better service from our new location. Look around the site and see what’s here, but remember to come back regularly for new information and updates!
